DME return journey

I think DME sounds wonderful. We have discussed quite a lot on arrival and getting to the hotel, but what is the arrangement for getting back? We like to use DTD Virgin check-in, do DME have something similar to this? :confused:

Disney magical express :D Luggage gets collected for you and arrives magically at your hotel :)

I *think* it's a bit less convenient than the DTD Virgin check-in.

You need to call in advance (evening before?) to find out your pick-up time. You can check your bags at your resort bell/luggage station until your pick-up time. The pick-up time probably will be well before you would need to leave if you were driving or using a town car service--rather like an airport shuttle service serving a number of stops.
