WE just got back from using it. I thought it was easy to keep track of. You know how many credits you get when you check in. When you use the table service, counter service and snack credits, you will get a receipt telling you how many credits you have left of each kind. Just make sure that is right and your good to go.
We had a problem at Whispering Canyon Cafe. They were able to get it straightened out right away.

Hi Johnie
Do you have to tell them that you have the free dining option or does it show up when they check your room key ??
Hope that made some sense.........it did to me anyway :)

It will be printed on your room key that you have the dining plan. I told the servers before we ordered that we had it.

It is always best to tell your server that you are on the dining plan before you order, because some restaurants have restrictions. At Earl of Sandwich we were only allowed a cookie for dessert and for a beverage we could only have a fountain drink (not a smoothie or iced tea).

Just as matter of interest, do you need all your room keys, or just one when on the dining plan. All I'm thinking is DH often goes to bring breakfast up to the room, would he need my key, or would it be on the key per room, not per person?

I ended up having to pay for $100 meal at CRT b/c we had mistaken the number of table service credits that we had left. Actually we thought that the lunch we had at MK two days before was a counter service for some stupid reason but it was a table service and I should have known it. But that was our stupid mistake, just remember to always check your receipts.
