Hi

Can anyone recommend a villa that they or friends/family have stayed in? Doesn't really matter which area.

Thanks.

We stayed in a fabulous villa called above par on Highlands Reserve. It's a bit pricey but very nice.

I'll PM the villa we had on Tuscan Ridge last year, Claire. We booked direct with the owners and found them very professional.:)

Last June, we used Villa Direct and stayed in a 4 bedroom home called FANTASMIC in Terre Verde. Very nice and very convenient!

We have also used All Star Vacation homes and stayed in Windsor Palms. Very nice also!

Both companies were very nice and very easy to use. You can't go wrong with either one.

We are staying at Orange Tree next year, it looks fab. We like the large plot sizes and no one overlooking your pool area. They are all single storey houses too. Some people may prefer to stay in a 2 storey, not us i'm afrain. We stayed at The Sanctuary at West Haven last year, massive 2 storey, however there where only 6 of us with my parents and every time we needed something from the kids rooms or ours it was a 6 mile jog to get it, also quite a lot of dead space on the sky bridge (not all have them though). Many single storey villas are actaully bigger than the two storey ones too.

The one we have rented is new in 05, with 3 retired couples with joint ownership, they only rent out a few weeks a year and having spoke to him yesterday i am really looking forward to staying there. Its gorgeous.

Hi, you do, it is lovely, when i spoke to one of the owners he told me because they only rent out for a few weeks a year the villa is kept immaculate. He was telling me that before christmas while he was there he noticed a small scrape in the wardrobe space where maybe a suitcase had scuffed it, so he touched it up. He says how beautiful it is, cant wait. What a shame it was booked up for your dates.

the link to the villa site was taken out cos they arent one of our sponsors

in actual fact we stayed at two there, we originally booked and were put in a villa at esprit, then we got robbed there, moved to calabay parc at one end of the road, then the owners phoned the managedment team and said they had a late booking, so we had to move to the other end of the road, and imo the best villa of the lot. also unbeknown to me at the the time arcamalpha2003 was opposite us :)

lovely villa site tho would go there again no problem

Its really local the Walmart too if my memory serves me right. I like that area a lot much more peaceful and open. The Orange Tree villa we have booked is a little further up, they have also said we will be able to see the Wishes Fireworks from the front of the villa, cant wait.

when we went and only after getting back we found out about the new wallmart on the 27, we used to go down to haines city, have also stayed at sunridge woods twice in a friends/aquaintances villa that was really quiet as its more of a residential area then a touristy one

mrs disney - it doesn't really matter whether there are 2 or 10 people staying in the villa as far as prices go - it will usually be the same. There are only 2 of us using the villa each time we go and it is still cheaper than a hotel room. We have the freedom to come & go as we please, our own pool, privacy and loads of room to spread ourselves around instead of being cramped in a hotel room - which we hate. If you do a search on Google for Florida villa rental, you will find loads of choices. We have never really been disappointed in our choice of villa and nowadays we stay on the Glenbrook Estate which is new and in a convenient spot. You can always search for villas2000 to get you started. If I'm not allowed to mention this site, can a mod please remove it - Thank You.

Katie :)

Hi there,
Hubby and I stayed in a lovely villa in Crescent Lakes in 2005 and are returning there this year.
3 bedroom, 2 bathroom with south facing private pool. Lovely area, nice and quiet for those relaxing days, and is owned by a lovely couple.
Very competitively priced too.
If you want me to send you a web-link, PM me.
Hope you find somewhere nice!!

I know its a bit late, but the majority of our reservations are from people who go as a couple or perhaps 2 couples. We like it that way and so do they!
