TCD Response

Hi all,
Just to let you know that I emailed TCD as we are flying with Air Atlanta through them in October and yes I was getting concerned. I sent the link to this website and told them to do a search on TCD and see for themselves what people have reported there experience to be.
Well they did and I got a response, here it is:

HI THANKS FOR YOUR EMAIL I UNDERSTAND YOUR CONCERN AFTER READING THIS SITE BUT AS YOU CAN APPRECIATE THEY ONLY TEND TO PUT THE BAD REVIEWS ON TE INTERNET BASICALLY IF THE PLANES WERE THIS BAD THEN WE WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO FLY THEM TO BE HONEST THE PLANES ARE BRAND NEW AND ARE AROUND 10 YEARS OLD BUT YOU DO RECIEVE THE FOOD AND DRINK AND ENTERTAINMENT ALTHOUGH WE CANT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL HAVE SEAT BACK TV'S IF YOU ARE THAT UNHAPPY TO TRAVEL WITH THIS AIRLINE THEN YOU COULD HAVE THE OPTION TO POSSIBLY CHANGE ONTO THE TRAVEL CITY DIRECT JUMBO WHICH ARE RUN BY AIR ATLANTA BUT THEY HAVE BEEN REFURBISHED BUT THIS DEPENDS ON AVAILABILITY AND YOU WOULD HAVE TO PAY £25 PER PERSON TO CHANGE AND IF THERE WAS ANY DIFFERENCE IN THE FLIGHT PRICE YOU WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE EXTRA IF YOU WANT TO GO AHEAD WITH THIS THEN EMAIL BACK BUT ATTACH YOUR BOOKING REFERENCE MANY THANKS

And if only bad reviews are written then they need to do a search for Virgin and see some good reviews... that should tell them a thing or two about customer service in and off the planes, actual planes, check-in, what to do in a delay, how to avoid delays, etc.:whistle:

Dont think I will never fly with TCD! unless they are taken over by Virgin

If it wasn't so serious it could possibly be almost funny.
If thats their idea of customer service its no wonder they have complaints.
One of their 'new' 747-300's by the way is 22 years old. Well thats newish isn't it?:oops:

yeah, well, after reading mum-jens posts back in Apr/May she said she was promised a new jumbo, even when she checked in, but ended up on an old Air Atlanta plane so after PMs with her about it I kind of expected it really even though I called TCD and explained what she'd said, and they still said I was booked on a new one.

well, i can't believe they were recommended to me by a few people! and one of them is sometimes who travels to florida at least 3 to 4 times a year, but now i'm guessing they don't always go with TCD :rolleyes:

i know - isn't that just outrageous. It's the nurse at my GP surgery actually - she's been going for ages, but not always to Orlando.

Last time she went to St Petes and watched dolphins in the sea from her balcony - now does that make you jealous - imagine how I felt when she told me (and showed me the pictures :lol: )

I had no idea that giving this link out was not allowed! I had read posts about how it would be great if TCD could see how people feel they erm..... might actually do something about it!

I think what Joanne asked was that people not involve the site when they were talking of contacting the holiday TV programme. :)

There response is nothing more than expected I suppose. But given that they seem to think this is some sort of review board, they obviously haven't even read it. If they had, surely they would have read there are still some (well, a few anyway) that are happy to fly with them and give them a :thumbs:

that would be my guess wendy, they just dont care, otherwise they would do something about it
