Does anyone know if i can claim virgin miles for my son on my account, he's 7 so cannot join himself

You can't claim miles for a child seat, I'm afraid. They can have their own account and claim miles when they are 12.:thumbs:

It says you have to be 12 to join but doesn't actually say whether i could claim his points against my account before he reaches that age

oh well never mind, trying all routes to try and get extra miles so i can upgrade to PE. Have also signed up for virgin cc today. Thanks for all your help

i did thanks to advice from alec and paulak, and have done really well since the 3 months of having it :D

if i don't have enough miles to upgrade can i use another family members points as well and combine the two.

What DH and I do is buy a seat for us and then each use our miles for the kids seats. That way we earn miles on our seats too because we've paid full fare.

Whether you can share points is debatable. The only way you can do it is to have all account holders there with you and get a nice FC staff member. They won't for example let you call and say 'use the wife/husbands miles too'. They have to personally speak to the account holder.

Paula you can send in a letter from your husband giving permission for you to be an authorised user of his account, I've done this, makes booking a lot more simple, I hope :D
