I had a magical moment

from a manager CM . I was looking to complete my tiki cast lanyard series . In May, I had collected quite a few and this trip was trying to complete the series I had started . Needless to say , I walked my feet off from CM to CM trying to find this tiki . I was told by quite a few *Good Luck* b/c it is a rare one to find . I had finally given up since it was our last day in the parks . On my way down Main Street , exiting the park , I met Mike , he was wearing a lanyard and I stopped him to check out his pins . He did not have it, but asked do you see any you want ? I politely told him that I liked all his pins, but he did Not have the one I was looking for . He asked which one it was and I told him it was the rare tiki pin with the leaf to the left side . He said, well that is the fun of pin trading, trying to find the treasure . I said, *oh, yes* I agree and I have had loads of fun trading with the CM's, but I'm going home tomorrow . He said, wait a minute, I think one of my other managers had this pin today, let me make a call . He directed us to a bench and said *Stay Here *. He came back out and said I think I located one , I have to go to the front desk . Can you wait a few more minutes ? *Can I Ever * :excited: About 10 minutes later, Mike came back . He opened his hand and said is this it , I looked and thought *Oh No* it's one of the other ones that I already have , ok, be polite and make like it is , don't want to hurt his feelings after going out of his way to be so kind, before I could say anything, Mike said *Or is this it * ? There it was brand new and shiny in its little plastic bag . I jumped right into his arms and gave him the biggest hug . Oh, Thank You So Very Much, You Gave Me A Magical Moment !:excited: He said Shhhhhhhh, my CM will hear you , oh too late she already has . :lol: The CM teased and said *Mike*? gave you a magical moment ? :lol: I again thanked him , gave him one of my traders and happily exited the park on my last day . Now that is true Disney magic .

:tigbounce: Don't you just love those magical moments! It happened to me last trip when a manager saw me and my oldest DD sitting on the bench at the restaurant at the American pavillion at Epcot. He saw our pin lanyards and asked me if I was looking for any certain pins. I said, "Anthing Donald." He looked on his lanyard, took a Donald pin off, and handed it to me. "Father's Day is coming up, isn't it?" (this was end of May) and just gave it to me, no trade. I didn't know what to say except "Thank you." My DW overheard a CM ask this manager, "What are you doing?" and the manager said, "I'm trading with a guest." :wink: It seems like we have at least one magical moment with each visit.
