View Full Version : Can't reply to any threads

Anyone else having problems? If I try and reply to a post it just hangs with the little timer ticking away to eternity. Tried several different browsers and window 2000 and Linux but same on all of them. Can send PMs with no problems and can reply to PMs with no problem.

And just when I was in a talkative mood. :rotfl:

I'll just sit here and read the replies because I can't respond to them. :sigh:

Try replying to this thread. You were able to start it, so it's odd that you can't reply to other threads.

Dawn I have a similar problem - but if I quote someone I can reply fine!

Sometimes I can reply but mostly I have to quote! Can delete all the quote and it still works but can't just reply.

This is on Firefox.

What browser are you using? There have been some weird problems with a variety of browsers.

You could just get a Mac and use Safari and be done with it, you know. LOL!

I've tried Windows 2000 and a Linux operating system with either Opera, Firefox, IE, and Konqueror. Same whatever combination I use.

Yes. I've tried eating extra chocklit and that hasn't helped either. I figure that because other people have said they've had this problem that it's not anything I've done.

Opera is problematic from what I recall, as is IE and I think Windows.

Since you've done everything our Masked Chris/Lisa recommends there is nothing to do for it but wait til Redkop gets in.

I do believe he had this sort of problem himself.

At least you've figured out how to post. You can start threads, clearly and with quoting you can post so that should help you limp through until the rescue squad gets here.

Done all that. This is the only place I'm having problems and just with replying to threads. Other websites, forums, etc all perfect. Just here.

You drink rum flown in direct from Jamaica. It tastes of hospitals and your ears cave in on themselves.

Johnie
September 5th, 2005, 18:42
 that doesn't sound pleasant. Hmm I wonder what they do to Captain Morgan to make it taste so nice?

Might well have actually. This was not your standard Captain Morgan. This was pure Jamaican firewater. Was at a wedding and the groom's family originate from Jamaica and an uncle flew over for the wedding and bought a couple of bottles of "the special stuff" with him. I think most people would have been unable to post after trying it. :rotfl:

Yeah I've a theory that a little gremlin crept into the server somewhere because it saw how much Keith was struggling with all that food so it thought it would creep in and cause a problem to get Keith away from restaurants for a couple of minutes.
