Virgin Atlantic Special Offers

Does anyone know how often these are available and can you use your points for upgrades in conjunction with the special offer if the correctly coded seats are available? i.e Until Septemebr 27th, I can get economy seats from Manchester for £295. Can I then use 20,000 of my points to upgrade to PE?

I don't honestly know Katie :shrug: and I think the only people who can answer this with any certainty will be the flying club. Only they can see the fare code for the special offers and know if it's upgradeable with miles. I'm interested to hear their response so let us know how you go on please if you do ring :D

I just need to convince my DH that it is a good idea to book next years hols before we've had this years (2 weeks). I'm sure there's no harm in ringing though.

Just rang them & you cannot use points to upgrade as it it a discounted ticket. To upgrade to PE with points, you need a full price economy ticket.
