bookshops

Hi everyone

Not long now before we leave for our 4th magical trip.

My FIL was a fireman and likes collecting memorobilia, books, etc. Does anyone know if there is a bookstore on International Drive, in Kissimmee or any of the shopping malls. We are looking specifically for American firetrucks or history of the fire service something along these lines.

There's a good bookstore at Pointe Orlando on I-Drive, or at least there was last November.:)

Doesn't the fire station on Main Street in MK have fireman related items, or is it all 101 dalmations?

In any major mall you will find at least one bookstore usually. Barnes and Noble is a popular one, as is Borders.

There is a very nice independent bookstore in downtown Orlando, but you won't really need to seek it out to find what you are looking for.

Some of the malls have Waldenbooks too. They are usually good for the coffee table type book you are describing.

We are all big readers and found that there were so few bookshops in Orlando. We always went to the Virgin Megastore to got our fix. However the cashier we handed over our money to, agreed that Orlando does not have a lot of book shops. Hope you find what you are looking for.

Not many bookstores? Well, not in the immediate DTD/WDW area, but there surely are many bookstores in the greater Orlando area. :yes: Everything from the large chains, to the college bookstores to the wonderful indedpendent.

Not too sure what the Virgin person was talking about. :shrug:
