yep got them last week (although the kids backpacks are way more fun)... oh and theyve taken the earphones out of them and now they loan headphones during the flight

Thats new we got them in March, not that they are much good I can't hear much with them other than mumble and hiss :D .

We got the stupid headphones that they hand out last November! The over ear ones were bad enough but the ones that go on your head were even worse.:rolleyes:

Yuk! I hate that idea, but then again the other clip on your ear things were rubbish! :hehe: Think we'll just take our own.

I'll be doing that, I tried the ones from my minidisc but the wire was too short and I could only listen with one ear :D .

Totally agree. The ones they supplied that clipped over the ears used to make them sore. I used to get off the plane with a pair of ears that looked like red landing beacons.

Last year whilst in duty free I obtained a nice pair of headphones that went over the head but folded just above the ear piece so they were nice and compact and fitted into my hand luggage - they had a decent length on the cord as well.

When you consider how long you spend on the flight I would thoroughly recommend picking up a decent pair rather than relying on those supplied.

Is the connection the same on normal headphones to plug into the Virgin system?
