Am I right in assuming that because my holiday is paid for in full the travel company can not impose any new fuel surcharges?
With all the talk of rising fuel prices I was just getting a bit worried
Thanks

I've heard that Virgin's fuel surcharge has increased from £48 to £60 from today. Not sure if its on the website yet but a Virgin customer services rep advised people phoning yesterday that it increases today.
Has anyone else heard that BA are going to start charging for on-line bookings?

Oh I hope not surley they can't put an extra cost on your ticket when you have paid in full that's the contract price you took out when booking.

They probably can do it, but I'd think they would be unlikely to do it. I've just taken out a car lease that the leasing company increased after the agreement went in place.

Never thought of that, what if you've paid the deposit? can they increase the price after you have already paid that?!
