I have just found out that I am able to buy park passes with my airmiles :D . I always convert my Tesco points for airmiles and it is working out to be quiet a saving especially if you consider its just for buying groceries :)

Where did you find that Trish? That would certainly be something for us to think about doing in the future.

It was on a mailing I got from them, I e-mailed them this is what they said:
"The 7 day Premium tickets for Walt Disney World are £168.00 per adult . By four adults = £672.00.
Every 1000 AirMiles used would then give you a £60.00 discount. You can use as many or little AirMiles you like provided it is in multiples of 100's. "
Granted there are cheaper places for the tickets, but if you work out 1 x 7 day ticket is worth 2800 airmiles, which at a conversion rate of 80 miles for £2.50 coupon = £87.50.
You can also use it for car hire or part cash part miles :)
I am off to do my weekly shop at Tesco and pay for it with my Virgin Credit Card, these loyalty clubs are great :)

Hi triciacarole, do you know if the miles you earn through virgin credit card can be combined with the ones through tesco's

Sorry no, I use my tesco points/airmiles for tickets or car-hire and virgin cc for flights, not bad though getting two bites at the cherry :D

I'm sulking now. Just bought my tickets and have £150.00 of clubcard vouchers in the cupboard that I was saving, no idea I could swap em for airmiles and use em for the tickets. Also one of my jobs is working at Tesco's so thats quite embarassing! Oh well, just have to save the next lot till I go again lol. Thanks for letting us know.

Sezzy you have to receive airmiles instead of the clubcard vouchers, you will have to sign up for it on-line. You could always use them for car hire, heres a clubcard deal (http://www.avis.co.uk/gb/tesco) :)

i think you can return your vouchers and have them converted to miles although it will be too late for the tickets you already have.

Just spoken to airmiles, they use Keith Prowse for their tickets, you get the genuine ticket and it works out that for each 100 miles you have you get £6 reduction. I know KP are not the cheapest but hey its still a bargain :D

Ok....so how much of a saving is that, as KP are one of the most expensive around from what I seem to remember.

That really depends on how many miles you get for your clubcard vouchers - I get 80miles for £2.50 worth.
:writing: The Walt Disney World Ultimate Ticket valid for 14 Days costs £183, so divide that by 6 = 30.5 then multiply this by 100 (on the rate of 100 miles for each £6) = 3050 miles, divide this by 80 (the number of miles received per voucher) = 38.125 (this now equals the number of clubcard vouchers needed per ticket) multiply this by £2.50 (the value of each cc voucher) = £95.31
I guess, but did not ask, you could use it on any of KP products so if one is more competitively priced than another that you would still be using it could work out better :D

Just go a quote for car hire using airmiles it equates to £191 for 2 weeks full size Alamo gold :D, buying without miles is also good @ £286
