Hi
Think we've decided on the 'Contemporary', the reasons being it's easily accessible to all parks/good dining facilities and we like to eat out as a family/lots for the kids to do.
Can anyone tell me, however, what the concierge level is like?? Am I right in thinking that there is a separate lounge area? Is it worth the extra money??
Thanks all.

I'm sure Cinderella or Mac can fill you in better but from what i've picked up during my endless 'where shall we stay' indecisive searches :hehe: they have 2 levels of concierge. One is on the 12th floor and has less food offerings, just breakfast and afternoon snacks and I don't think they have an MK view lounge (though i'm sure i've read they're getting one?). The 14th floor is full concierge with food throughout the day and evening.
We looked at concierge but they don't differentiate between views and that really bugged me. I just know i'd get the wrong side :hehe: I hope they change that pricing structure.

Thanks for that Paula, I was toying with the idea of booking a couple of nights concierge at either the Contemporary or Poly and then onto BCV as a special treat for DD, she does not want the Grand Floridian, she says it looks far too posh :D

Don`t let first impressions fool you [you might have guessed I`d invade your thread! ]
The GF isn`t "posh" at all...hey, they even allow me to stay there!

Claire,
We've stayed on the CR 12th floor concierge as a result of a free upgrade (I like to call it concierge "light" ). As a free upgrade, it was great... There was no separate lounge on the 12th floor (they just set up the snacks in that area right where you get off the elevators).
We've always had the baylake view side when we have stayed in the tower rooms. (We usually only specify non-smoking). You can see the Electric Water Pagent every night at 10:05pm (if I remember correctly :D) from that side. I've been told you can see the fireworks over at EPCOT from that side, but I didn't look for it when we were staying there--so, I'm not sure how well you can see them. :D
