The Mummy Ride

I`m always on the look out for new things to do and as it`s been a while since we went to Universal/IOA, we may pay it a visit this time.
I`ve done most of the newer rides there apart from the Mummy.
I`m sure that I`d be ok but do you think my DW would "survive" it?...bearing in mind that she is not a white knuckle ride type, and although she has done TOT, Splash Mountain, and the Thunder Mountain ride etc., there is no way you would get her on R&RC or Space Mountain or any "coaster" type of ride.

I've done it and you wouldn't get me on ToT, Slow! I loved it! I shall be doing it again. It's no worse than BTMR, it's just better theming and goes backwards for a short time.:thumbs:

I survived it and I'm a coaster chicken. It was a bit faster than BTMRR and I did close my eyes a bit but I'm glad I tried it, the effects are brill. I'd go on again I think :lol:

I thought it was really good, I'd heard it went backwards before I went on it but it really is nothing. I was scared of coasters when I went on it but then later in the holiday I got brave and did all the coasters and the coasters are way way way way easier than they look. Trust me. I'd not been on one all my life then decided to just go for it at 21 and now I love them. The only ride I went on and really didn't like was TOT.

Probably my current favourite ride, its a brilliant coaster.

The coaster part is pretty short. There is fire and lots of heat. Oh yeah and lots of those bugs.

When I got off, I couln't feel my legs....they just wouldn't do as they were told. I was sweating....badly. I felt queezy for at least an hour. I was shaking like a shakey thing. My knuckles just about had to be prised off the bar.

If there was a wimp of the year award I would definately be nominated.:rolleyes:

terry, if she has done ToT then she will be able to do the mummy no problem, i think ToT is the most gut churning ride at wdw :D
