Hi. New here!!! We have never stayed onsite before, but I am becoming enthused about doing so for part of our holiday next February.
I really fancy POFQ, but as there will only be the two of us (more mature!!), is this a good choice? I know opinions do vary, and whilst I would love a deluxe, funds are limited.
Would appreciate your views as I know many of you have stayed in a variety of resorts.
Also, which block would you recommend?

Either POFQ or POR would be ideal for you.

POFQ or POR definitely would be my first choice for a moderate! You have the added advantage of the ferry to DTD!

If those sister resorts aren't available, I enjoyed CSR, which is a convention resort. Although large, it's a bit quieter than CBR. Even with some what limited mobility, I didn't have any difficulty walking around the resort. It was about 8 minutes from my room in the Cabanas section (8B, I think) at a pace that was slightly faster than compound slow! :) WDW bus service was excellent!

We've done POR Riverside twice and are going again next year - it's lovely. The setting is beautiful - very picturesque, if you don't want to walk far to the food areas, ask for a building that's quite close to the main area. We always stay in building 34 as it's near a bus stop and very quiet but it's about 12 minutes walk to the food. The walk in a morning is along the lake and the area is surrounded by trees which makes a pleasant stroll. The boat trip to DTD is wonderful in the evening and is a great way to relax. If you really want to chill out, you can always book a carriage ride around the grounds!

It's a great resort, the staff are friendly and the bus service is good.

We stayed at POFQ on our honeymoon and we loved it. It's a small resort so all of the buildings are pretty close to the pool, food court, bus stop and lobby. We stayed in building 3.

I say go with POFQ. You won't regret it.

POR and POFQ are both ideally suited to a couple. We love both of these resorts.
