You can't charge to your room or have packages delivered and you have to pay for parking at the resort I think they are, Mari.

You don't get Mickey wake up calls or soap. You can't charge, but you can have packages delivered. I don't think you can participate in the 10 day ADR rule, but you do get extra magic hours.

Since the Swan & Dolphin are not Disney Resorts, not owned nor operated by Disney, just think about them as just an off-site luxury resort located on-site :hehe:   .

Ok!

Thank you so much!!!

So, if you cant charge to your room, you must have money or a cc on you... that could be so dangerous for Tono

I wouldn't put them in the same category as off-site luxuary. They still have Disney gift shops and Disney transportation and DME and EMH!

1. You don't get resort delivery of things purchased at any of the disney gift shops

2. You can charge back to your room from any gift shop or restaurants within the Swan and Dolphin but not from any other restaurants

3. You do participate in EMH

It has character meals
Is a short stroll to Beach and Yacht Club ans the Boardwalk
It does not have the Disney Sparkle, but hey not everyone wants that 24/7
I consider it to be a luxury Deluxe Resort Hotel on site, just not owned by Disney which in turn makes it less expensive :)

Thank you for making it so clear! :D

The only thing that really bothers me is not being able to send packages... although it would be better for our economy since I wouldnt buy everything Ive bought if I had to carry it around all day...

you can still send your packages to the front of the park Mari. you can then pick them up on your way out

I am so confused because when I stayed at the dolphin resort I got package delivery. I picked it up at the Daisy Duck store in the dolphin resort. These are items I purchased in the parks. Is it something new that there is no longer pkg delivery. I will be sad if they stopped this :(
However, the beds, pool, excellent selection of places to eat, EMH and the LOCATION can't be beat and it is definately one of my favorite resorts to stay at.

Mari honey, are you maybe considering the S/D for an upcoming trip  Now wouldn't it be nice if a certain Auntie is hoping to stay there next spring too :D

Check with Mac when she gets home and ask her to keep an eye on the prices for you too. That's what she's doing for Johnie and I

Id LOVE to stay at the swolphin.... every time I try, something comes up that wrecks my plans :/ but I've been and looked around and from my perspective at least, what you gain from those resorts is worth a lot more than you lose.

Location is great, it's a bit more "normal hotel luxury" than disney hotels bother with (even the deluxe ones), I really like them.

I WILL stay there one day I WILL!
