Can't say what they're like going to America but we went to Greece 2 years ago on a Thomas Cook plane and it was ok. Quite basic, no seat back TVs, but it was ok. I'd hope (and expect) that their trans-atlantic planes are a bit higher spec :)

It appears as though Thomas Cook use Martinair as their flight partner from Manchester. The plane listed is a 767. I can't recall having been in a 767 with seat back TVs but some of them may have them. Martinair's web site mentions a comfort class where: Each passenger has access to a Personal Entertainment Player with a wide selection of the latest feature films and programs.

Found out by speaking to trade support, most of the flights with thomas cook airlines to orlando have seat back tvs! Make sure it is an A300 as thats the ones with seatback tvs, they have some good flights for next sept for £359 on offer!
Not sure who you mean by Martinair?
Thomas cook charter out Monarch every now and then but they have their own airline thomas cook airlines, most customers I have sent there have had seat back tvs with them with the odd few that havent, im told that in the quieter times such as Jan and feb thats when they tend to use the smaller planes!
Hope this helps anyone that is thinking of using thomas cook airlines - i answered my own question in the end!
Cheers

I actually logged on to the Thomas Cook Website and pretended I was booking a flight from Manchester to Orlando. The info they brought back was that the Flight was on Martinair (A Dutch owned airline).
