Hi. Does anyone have any idea what the AAA discount may be on the moderate resorts from after 20th February 06? I don't seem to be able to find out without actually having a membership number (AA over here), and we are not yet ready to join, having other cover for a few months yet. We would join earlier so we could book, but I would like to have an idea so we can decide.
Many thanks.

AAA rates typically are between 10/15 % off rack rates. We have 10% off at the Polynesian resort late April just to give you an idea

Who did you book through to get the rates? The Disney UK site doesn't seem to offer them?

Mickeymac is in the process of booking me an AAA rate, this gives me 15% off in August next year :)

You can also book with the AAA discount if you call Disney CRO direct yourself....just ask for the AAA discount when you book. You don't need to have a current AAA membership at the time of booking but you will need to show your proof of membership at check-in or they can change your rate back to rack rate:whistle:

Cinderella and MickeyMac are both Disney specialist travel agents - you can also PM them to book through them.

I have had an annual pass for some time now; but I see that there are alot of people who use AAA. My question is - is the AAA discount better than the AP discount for room rates? I have been thinking about joining AAA for the auto privileges.

Thanks for your help and advice!:p

AP is usually better than AAA although AAA are sometimes available further out and you don't have to suffer the awful new AP best rate program to get them!

September is Value rate, the rates are generally less then.

Thank you, I might as well stick with the full price, I am adding the diner plan on and I dont think I can do it, if I get the AAA discount plus I would have to buy a membership to AAA.

September is value season and March is peak season. There is a big price difference between the two.
