I know you can check out the resorts, but will they let you take a peek inside one of the rooms? :spy:

I have at off-site resorts. :shrug: I just ask at the front desk, tell them I am considering staying there in a few months and if they have an empty room I could look at. I suppose it depends on whether they have a CM free to show you one. Doesn't hurt to ask! :)

Yes they will. After eating at Yachtsman Steakhouse we asked if we could look at one of the Yacht Club rooms. One of the CMs at the front desk showed us a lovely water-view room and even wrote down the room number for us in case we wanted to stay there and request that room.

When my son went on the Pirate Cruise at GF, DH and I went for a wander around. We had breakfast and asked could we have a look in one of the rooms. One of the maids was only too happy to let us have a look. I wish we hadn't bothered! It was fabulous and definitely made me want to stay there someday. I love POR - but the room at GF was something else!
