Room Requests

Just a question about requesting rooms. Do you have to book through Disney to make room requests or can you book through a TA and call Disney to make a request? We have many people staying at the POR and I was wondering if they could be located sort of close to eachother. I've heard this place was big and it would be helpful to have our whole party semi-central located. however, everyone booked through different agents.

Did you book through the Disney Weddings department? If you provide them with all the reservation numbers, or party names, they should be able to assist, or at least point you in the right direction.

Barring that, I highly suggest getting set up as a Magical Gathering. By doing so, your reservations will be downloaded to the resort a few days before everyone else, and they can block out rooms in close proximity to each other. Call Disney reservations to get started with your room or rooms, then give the Gathering number to each group in your party and they can call on their own or have their TA's call to add them to the group as a whole.

Be aware that any smokers in your group may end up in a non-smoking location, however, and might want to remain out of the group booking.
