You could probably Priceline something, or check Hotwire...it depends on when you're going, and where you're willing to stay.

When are you going? How old are the people involved?

I Pricelined a hotel in March of 2004 for $19 a night. It was the La Quinta Inn Lakeside (it's now a Best Western). It was clean, safe, with fridge and twice the size of an All Stars room. It was also close to Disney.

If your willing to put up with a timeshare tour, you can get some tremendous deals that way. There is no requirement to buy but you do need to attend the 90 minutes sales tour. I have no problems saying no.

I'd check Continental for the airfare...or you could drive it...maybe with a stop in Atlanta...

The big expense is going to be tickets...are any of the members of your party under 3?

I don't think your going to be able to do airfare, hotel, theme park tickets and food for that amount of money.

Driving might be a less expensive option. How long would it take to get there from Texas?

Go to www.skyauction.com and you can get a condo for about $250 for a WEEK. Make sure you read all the details before bidding. We got a condo through them last year and it was awesome.

You can get tickets if you do a timeshare tour.

Here's the problem you're going to run into - three adults in a room you're most likely going to have an extra charge (rooms are priced with 2 adults). Food for 5 over, lets say a week, just counter service could easily run you $125 per day (figuring $35 for breakfast, $45 for lunch and $45 for dinner). Over a week that alone is $875. That's with no character meals or table service meals.

Tickets, your little sis is classed as an adult so you're looking at 4 adults and 1 child's ticket

If you get a condo via skyauction, it will have a full kitchen so you can easily make meals there. You'd have to buy groceries if you were at home right?

Were you planning on doing this at Disney or off-site? If it's Disney, then you won't have a room key for everyone and those without a key can't participate in the Extra Magic Hours.

I'm not going to lecture you about how wrong this is. However, there are limits to the number of people in a room for a reason.

We are driving from San Antonio. Stop in Pensacola. Ramada in is always cheapest there.

We took a family of 5 for under $1500. Stayed at the Days inn and suites at Old Town. Nice suite with pull out bed, murphy bed and 2 queens in bedroom. Also with kitchen.
We always buy our tickets ahead of time on the Disney Website. Lots cheaper if bought ahead of time and you are sure you are getting a useable ticket.

We took simple groceries with us on our trip. To eat on the way and while there. Took cereal, snacks and colas. I am sure you have an HEB grocery there as well. Lots cheaper than buying at a grocery in Florida.

That way we ate a good breakfast in the room. Packed snacks to take in the park. Carry in in a soft sided cooler is permissable. Then at at a counter service. Meals are big enough to share sometimes.

However you do need to try and save and make a ressie for a nice sit down restaurant on site. You will not regret it.

Resist the souvenirs at the parks. Go to Superwalmart on Vine (i think it is) and purchase there.

Hope this helps somewhat.

Well, I guess that depends on how you look at it...

Legally, there's no question that it's wrong. If the resort you chose has a limit of four people, and you sneak five in, then yes, it is *wrong* by legal standards...Things such as fire codes and insurance guidelines dictate how many people may sleep in one room...and if you break those limits, then you are breaking the law...

We have rented both condos and 3 bedroom homes with private pools in Kissimmee for a week for far less than $1,000. It depends on the time of year that you go. This is what we always did for years until we finally stayed on Disney property and then that was it - it is Disney all the way, but I understand when you have a budget to stick to. All of the homes and condos we rented were great!

My suggestion is to look into a condo/villa. You can get one pretty inexpensively in Orlando if you're not fussy. And eating two meals a day in your condo can seriously cut down on dining expenses. I've also read about people bring sandwiches into the park and have seen many families eating full lunches brought from home. I'd also suggest bringing/buying cases of water because it's the $2. water with five people that really adds up.

I've also had great luck with priceline. Even if you get two rooms you can usually get a 2-2 1/2 star in the area very inexpensively. Check out bidding for travel.com I read really good reviews about the LaQuinta Lakeside, mentioned above, which often shows up on priceline.

With four adults and one child, it's the park tickets that are going to hurt. You may have to seriously limit your park time and do other Disney activities. The other option is to try and get tickets one at a time, through AAA or one of the reputable discounters. It doesn't make it cheaper, only hurt less to buy them.

Definitely. I wouldn't doubt that it's a criminal offense to not declare all the people staying in a room. Plus if there was a fire the numbers would be wrong on a roll call list but hey if people are OK with taking risks then I guess others can only advise against it
