Just a quick question, we would like to do its tough to be a bug next year, is there a lot of spiders in it? as my mother does not like the things even on a tv screen:D I dont want her to go in and see them as she will only moan:rotfl:

There are spiders, yes.

Unfortunately there are quite a few spiders, but Lucy is terrified of them (even on TV) and she coped just fine. Maybe you could split the group with you going in first to sample the spider situation!

It'd be a shame to miss it!

But of course, the spiders are very cartoonish. You should definitely not miss this show. I love it, but could miss the smelly part. Yuck!

I really hate spiders too but I loved It's Tough To Be A Bug. It'd be a shame to miss it just because of the spider part, they are done in a cartoony way which I think really helps.

My youngest (7) hates spiders with a passion.

But he loves 'its tough to be a bug', as it is so funny even the spider bit...

I hate spiders, but I love the show. If she doesn't like anything just tell her to look down. I know it's not the same, but I go funny with flashing lights, I just close my eyes and look down at my hands. It would be a shame for her to miss it.

I think thats the only really scary bit - I love this show and the queuing area is fantastic. Would be quite intense for those afraid of insects for sure

The cartoon spider is very funny  , but , the large black widow type spiders that come down from the roof    now that is a different matter. If you are scared of spiders that is definately a time to close your eyes and get someone to tell you when that bit is over. An excellent show but watch out for those spiders.:afraid: :afraid: :afraid:

Kinda like in Shrek 4d. I went on that twice and screamed both times when the spiders came

I am a big chicken when it comes to spiders. They really frighten me. But I love this attraction! One thing you can do if you are with someone who is terrified of spiders is to have them close their eyes when the room begins to fill with "fog". It is then that the spiders drop from the ceiling.

Another spider (I guess it's a spider...) in the show is "Chili". Chili is portrayed by Cheech Marin who also does the voice of Banzai the hyena in Lion King.

Freaks me out but the wife loves it :sigh:

As I told my DS, you are at Disney, Mickey will not let anything bad happen.

As it happens I am probably the biggest wimp out of all of us and although I was really apprehensive about going to see this, it was fantastic and I am so glad that I went in to see it (twice). I did cheat a little and did not sit with my back right up against the seat.
