Who has stayed at the All-Star Music Resort? What did you think of it? How were the rooms, pools, transportation, best building to stay in, etc.... Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I stayed in movies which is part of the group of three (sports, music, movies) each resort has their own icons which are larger than life and great. Each resort has 2 laundrettes, 2 themed pools, a large food court, disney shop and arcade. I walked through from movies to each of the 3 resort to get to macdonalds (you have to have a usa macdonalds!) and each resort was clean and fun. We are going back to the movies next april and cannot wait. In each room you have a safe, iron and ironing board tv etc. On the info part of the boards you will find a lot of info about each resort. hope this helps and have a great time:rotfl:

I have stayed at ASMusic twice, Movies and Pop Century. That being said, I will NEVER stay at Music again. I don't like the way it is laid out in comparison to the other value resorts. I also think their management style is horrible.

We have stayed at each All Star Resort at least once, but have stayed at ASMusic 5 times (only because the other two were booked when we tried). We stayed there the year it opened (Rock n Roll) and thought it was great, esp. for the money. Since then, we have been in Country, Jazz, Broadway, and then Rock n Roll ( I think it's called Rock Inn now). Country was the quietest, but I liked Broadway the best because of the theme. Calypso is right there at the main pool and also closest to the Food Court. The last time we stayed there, which was Rock Inn, the walls were marked up and dirty. It could have just been that room. The buses aren't the best of the resorts, IMHO, but it depends on the time of day. When MK closes, the lines can get very long. All in all, we like to stay at the value resorts when we want to spend a little more money on something else, like dining. Hopefully, we'll get a different All Star next time just for variety.

I have stayed at the AS Music twice and much prefer it to the Movies, as do all of the family. We were disappointed when we stayed in the Movies in 2001 and reverted to the Music resort last time. I just about prefer everything about it really and would go back in an instant.

We have stayed at the Music before, the rooms are pretty basic, and I didn't see much difference from our room at the QII on I-drive. The themeing is great though, as well is everything else on site. Try to get a room up by the food court as it can be a long walk if your based at the far end of the complex. Maxine

We stayed at All Star Music once. I believe we were in the Rock Inn. It was back out of the way but a lovely walk to the food court as it gave us time to take in the resort. It was also quiet back there.
