We are hoping to upgrade to concierge level at the animal kingdom lodge could any one please tell us what extras you get for this please

Itinerary Planning Office, with pre-planning assistance
Full use of the concierge lounge, with morning, afternoon, and evening offerings from the Boma and Jiko restaurants
Evening beer, wine, and cordials
Access to the Sunrise Safari and Wanyama Safari (for an additional charge)
Concierge staff while onsite to assist you with your last minute needs
Room size is a tad bit larger than those on 2-4th floors

What a wonderful idea - are you going to upgrade ahead of time or hope to trade up when you get there? (not recommended)

We just returned from a stay at AKL concierge and it is our favorite concierge level in all of WDW ;) We have stayed there a few times, and it never disappoints.

Concierge Rooms are located on the fifth and sixth floor of the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Continental breakfast, afternoon snacks and tea, before dinner appetizers, and desserts and drinks are served in the lounge. Make sure you try out the wonderful cappuccino/coffee machine! It has wonderful coffee. Also the smoothie drink in the lounge is yummy and very unique too.

The big draw for concierge guests at the Animal Kingdom is the sunrise and sunset safaris. We have done both and they are worth ever penny.

Also concierge guests are put in deluxe rooms which are a little larger then standard rooms and can accommodate 5 people while the standard rooms only accommodate 4.

If you are looking to stay at the concierge level at AKL I would suggest booking that as the concierge at AKL in particular fills fast.
