Ok, we are far too organised.......

Last month we booked the flights (Virgin PE 5th-26th August).
The following week we booked the accomadation at All Star Sports.
Then we booked the travel insurance.
I just joined the AA, so I manged to get MickeyMac to book us a room for our wedding anniversary on an AAA rate at the Wilderness Lodge.

..........and our tickets for Discovery Cove arrived this morning.

So what do we do with the next ten months?

Is there such a thing as being too oragnised? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I still have the lists from last year.....saved on my laptop.

But that was only for 10 days, this is three weeks......perhaps I should start a new one? :D :D :D

Itineries - You can do them, then change them and do them over and over, like I do! :)

You can help me Vikki

Next year is our third time to WDW. On the last two occasions we have just hoofed it and decided in the morning what we are going to do and haven't planned anything.

I guess we need to maybe have an itinery year - everyone on the board seems to have one and be much more organised than me :sigh:

color coordinating your outfits and inserting them into baggies labeled with the dates should take you a bit of time... :hehe:

I know how you feel...I've been waiting since April for our January 06 trip....

Finally was able to make ADRs last week (and I forgot to call on the 90th day out) and got everything I wanted...
I'm rethinking what clothes to bring for myself and the kids (DH is on his own)...since I'm beginning to realize that we may not have "shorts weather" while we're there - which also has me wondering if we should even bother to plan a water park day. I think that means I need to come up with an "A" itinerary and a "B" itinerary...

We did that last time and the itineries we planned (and replanned and changed, etc) got scrapped 3 hours after we arrived as we went mad and did Magic Kingdom on the first night (5 rides in 2 hours- we were shattered).

And there is something we need to do Vikki.... pack, go to the airport and watch you check the passports are in your bag 20 times before we get there. Dont deny it or hit me because you know its true

You can plan what restaurants you're going to eat in! That's a good one and takes ages to do!

Its a good thing he's gone out this afternoon! :D Although, it is true......I watch those airport programs far too much, and I'm convinced I will never be one of those people who forgets their passports :D

And neil@disney, this is our third time too. Like Anthony said, we made an itinery for our last trip and it lasted all of 5 minutes :) I'm not a fan of them, but it helps we don't have kids (although does Anthony count as one of those?????? ).

The restaurant idea is a good one, need to think about that, three weeks of dining plan to fill.

Dawn, I remembered the lists, but it was the lists of lists I forgot, so thanks :)

And MickeyMac, you just make me :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thats the problem with us as well we get so excited we do absolutely everything months before and then the run up to the actual day we go really seems to drag.

You'd better get hopping on those dining plans, your going to get to call and get your ADR's a lot sooner now (180 days out instead of 90).

Vikki, I am just enjoying reading the forum and as I have the flights and accommodation sorted am relaxing and saving my planning until I've graduated and then I've got something to look forward to :).

neil we do an itinery then it just goes out the window when we get there and just decide the night before, it works for us, we just dont want to be too regimented in what we do, we still do everything we want to, and we make a list of things not to miss, but we still do

ADRs are great to think about......and closer now, but then what do I do for the other 180 days? Rather than the 90 :D
