Ipods on the plane

Are you allowed to listen to ipods on the plane?
I know you can listen to cd players and mp3's - but not sure about ipods?

Yes, since it's an electronic device, they will ask you to turn it off for the first ten minutes of the flight. You'll be able to use it when they give the all clear to use laptops.

On my last trip, there were even several people using wireless Playstations (PSP).

The people sitting next to me had a portable DVD player, we all watched 4 episodes of Battlestar Galactica Season 1 :yes: .

The only device they did not allow were cell phones.

I dont have an ipod, but one of the people coming with us has just bought one mainly for on the plane :)

We don't have an Ipod :cry2: but we do have MP3 players :hyper: and they are a must for the plane. We love our music and it's great to just put your headphones and close your eyes :singin:. Before you know where you are, you're there :D

We have flown with My Travel and they don't allow anything that uses a CD-Drive during the flight at all. Such as a discman or a laptop that accesses the CD drive. MP3/Ipods and hand-held games are fine.
