Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts bring the magical theme park experience to life online with the launch of Virtual Magic Kingdom (vmk.com). Virtual Magic Kingdom offers free and fun access to the newest and coolest multi-player online community. Guests can create and control their own virtual character, compete against others in action-packed games based on Disney attractions, design their own virtual room and much more! The fun doesn't stop online, as Virtual Magic Kingdom also becomes part of the live Walt Disney World and Disneyland experience.
Creating the "New" You
When you log onto VMK -- you can really express yourself. On vmk.com you are solely in charge of the universe you create. Blue spiky hair is "in," and your wardrobe selection is your own when you are a character on vmk.com. And Virtual Magic Kingdom allows you to create the room you want and deck it out any way you want − in your own virtual world to reflect your own style. Your character, complete with an alternate identity, will navigate through the online kingdom and interact with other users.
Players earn credits by competing in online quests, contests and games. Prizes range from special virtual powers to "real" prizes like VMK wrist bands and exclusive park tours at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California. Additionally, guests can chat, trade, hang out with others, and create their own games and entertainment.
