I am busy planning my next disney holiday and i was wondering if anyone has stayed at the Hampton Inn Point hotel on International Drive or can anyone recommend a good, clean and friendly hotel on I Drive for us to go to.

Just stayed in the Holiday Inn, I drive and it was great. The rooms in the tower block are quite big. Our room was nice and clean although the AC unit was very noisy.

We stayed in the Homewood Suites a few years ago and they were excellent. Superb rooms, breakfast included and very friendly staff. They also had complementary transport to Disney and Universal.

we stayed Holiday Inn I Drive also in the tower block couldnt fault it. Wet and wild is over the road as is ponderosa also a crazy golf we thought it was ideally situated and enjoyd our stay there. The only problem we have with hotels is the interstate we live on a farm in the country and the noise for us is a big thing thats why were staying on universal blvd this time

I love Homewood Suites, breakfasts are included and are excellent, including afternoon snacks during weekdays.

They are suites and not just a single room, so you get kitchen and seating area...

The staff were great, the one I recomend is the one in American way, right off I Drive, great view of Universal Fireworks.

I stayed at the Sheraton Studio City hotel. Its very clean, the staff are lovelly and the hotel is perfectly placed. Because we were there for 11 nights we were given a free fridge (normally $10 a night) and a room with a great view of the I-Drive (we could even see Disney fireworks from a distance). There is mini golf right next door to the hotel. Wet n Wild is minutes away. And its perfect for the I-Ride because it is more north then the majority of the hotels we always got on the first shuttle that came whereas just a few stops down the road people got turned away.

Homewood Suites is amazing. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed in and of course there is the massive breakfast buffet (free) and the managers reception Mon-Thurs. It is No 6 in Tripadvisor and rightly so. I am paying £58 per night for all three of us to stay again next year - cant wait!

We stayed in the Rodeway Inn (next door to the Holiday Inn) last month and found it to be pretty good. Basic, clean and very reasonably priced, oh and an in room fridge as standard, I couldn't survive without an in room fridge. Staff were helpful and friendly, I would definitely stay there again. It was well situated as well.

I stayed in the Quality Inn International January past and again that was basic and clean, also with an in room fridge, but the staff were not as friendly as they could have been, so in my opinion this gives the Rodeway the edge.

Another recommendation for the Rodeway, cheap, good position and we got a free meal at the Shogun Steakhouse which was superb.

I vote for Homewood suites just off I drive 100%

With 3 young kids it was great to have 2 rooms and 2 tvs for chill time.

Cant fault breakfast especially make your own waffles:D

Managers reception great too

Would HIGHLY recommend :wiggle:
