We are planning our first family visit to WDW next June. Our DS9 is dxd ADHD and is on meds during term time but I try to keep him off them at weekends and holidays.

What experience does anyone have with this at WDW. I don't know how he's going to cope with standing in queues, watching parades whilst being pushed and shoved from all angles. We can only go during the holidays so we'll inevitably face large crowds.

We went to Paris a couple of years ago and he really loved it but did wander off a few times!

Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Maybe you could bring items for him to play with while standing in lines.

You may want to look into a Guest Assistance Pass. I'm going to move this over to the Disabilities board where you may get more assistance.

I was also thinking that it might be a good idea to keep him on the medication during this trip.
