hi hope someone could answer me this
my sister really loves corn bread but we can never find any in england so i wondered if anyone new of a reciepe so i could try and make some myself, or if anyones nos where we can buy some??

There's some recipes here (http://home.att.net/~ejlinton/cornbread.html) or just put cornbread into google, there will be loads.:thumbs:

My Grandmother (a true born and raised Southern woman) made the BEST cornbread. She had one of those cast iron corn stick pans? Wicked good stuff.
Some of the best I ever had though was made by a friend of mine, Sophie in Ft. Myers. I raved and raved about her cornbread and she finally 'fessed up. She used JIFFY! :eek: Now, granted. She doctored it up, but boy was I surprised!
The corn bread at House of Blues is some tasty stuff too. :yes:
