View Full Version : Room for a cot?

My kids are starting to get funny sometimes about sharing a bed (they are almost 10 and 7). Staying in a 1 br villa, they will have to share the pullout unless dh and I each sleep with one of them (and that means one of the adults on the pullout - ouch!). Anyway, can we get a cot, and if so, is there room for it? I've looked at the room layout and it looks a little tight!

DVC will not give you any kind of roll-away bed or cot but you are allowed to bring your own with you. Lots of people bring an aerobed with them for the same reasons you're asking about or to fit 1 extra person (DVC will actually allow up to 5 in a 1bdrm but will not give you extra bedding or linens for the 5th person).

As to how well it will fit....
....which DVC resort are you booking? At OKW or VB you have PLENTY of room. At BCV's or BWV's or VWL and SSR it may be a tighter squeeze if you want to put the aerobed in the living room, though you can certainly fit it in the master bedroom on the floor.

Anyway, HTH's

Thanks, Scootch! I thought maybe for a fee they'd rent you something...oh well - the kids will have to share the bed! Besides neither of them want to share a bed w/dh b/c he snores so bad!
BTW we're staying a BCV!
