i know this is going to sound crazy, but who is Roland?

Roland is a puppet that appeared on children's television in Britain years ago. He mostly presented his own show and had several other "friends" who were also animal puppets. There was one known as Kevin (the gerbil) and Roland was always making fun of him and making him do silly things.

He had a pink car called the Ratmobile and when he laughed he stuck out his tongue and went, "YYEEAAHH"!!!

It sounds like a load of rubbish, but it was excellent and VERY popular over here.
