Thanks SM :)
Wendy......you read my mind :D
The 29th is our first evening in Orlando. We were going to go to Celebration but that has been put off until next year so that we can go to the Mall at Millenia because DH wants to but an ipod. With the conversion, it works out at around £50 cheaper.

Well, thats another good reason to hit the M at M!
We managed to squeeze in Celebration in October, after our meal at Cheesecake Factory at is so happens! We just spent about an hour driving round admiring the Halloween decos......kids loved it. Would definately like to return and try one of the restaurants.

There's a sticky with links to all the malls here (http://www.wdisneyw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44412). Each place has their shopping hours and directions on their website. Basically, you carry on past Universal to the Conroy Rd. exit Mike. You can't miss it. There's not much there unless you want really expensive stuff (think Louis Vuitton, Chanel etc.). They have an Apple store at the Fl. Mall now too.

I do like going to M@M for a mooch when we've time to kill, but it's certainly not the place to go for bargains. It is worth going to eat though :eat: and the Super Target across the road is worth checking out if you're in the area! :D

Mall at Milennia was ok I thought, but a lot of the shops were very high-end stuff at prices to match.

Oh i've no doubt it's cheaper than in the UK, but it's like a Von Dutch t-shirt costs £50 there instead of £70 here, get my drift?

Also worth remembering that the larger stores at the mall, macy's etc., have "international traveller" cards which will give you a discount. Sometimes 11%, sometimes more.
They're usually available from the customer services/gift wrapping part of the stores and you'll need to show your passport to get one.
Then you just show it whenever you buy anything and pocket your 11% (or more) discount ;-)
On top of the $-£ advantage, the additional international discount can really make it worthwhile doing shopping there!

It does have a few stores the Fla mall does not that aren't overly high end but still nice.. Sanrio, Urban Outfitters (great for teens), Bloomingdales (not all of the stuff is pricey some is M&S type prices and the same if not better quality) and of course it's worth going for Cheesecake Factory alone IMO =]
