Collectable Pins

Hi All,

I am interested in getting some of the collectable pins. This trip to Disney will be my first ever, so I haven't got a clue where I am going. So could any of you tell me where you can get them at good value, to start off with.

Everywhere! The resorts and the parks have them in gift shops or in special kiosks set up just to sell pins.

But dont they sell them cheaper out of the parks?
Or are they all the same price, what is the price range???

I'm not sure where, outside of the parks, you can purchase WDW pins. They used to sell pins at the Disney Store, but I haven't seen them there in ages. And they weren't the same. You can buy some on Ebay or on certain pin collecting websites.

The price range is approx $6 up to, I don't know, $15 maybe? It depends on if they are limited edition, light up, etc.

For Pin trading, they have to be Disney, look at the back for the logo. Newer pins have a pin trading logo.

The outlets, while have pins, are not discounted (at least not at my outlet down here). Pins range from $7.95 to about $10.50 (usually LE or AP pins)

And do they sell starter kits or something along them lines for beginners?

Yep! It has a lanyard and either 4 or 8 pins. They are different themes and different prices

Very rarely will the outlets sell discounted pens. It did happen for us once last year but it's not the norm.

I have found a good store on e-bay where all the pins are $5.95 with free S&H. PM if you want the name. This store has lanyard pins and rack pins...the price is good...don't know if ur US or UK...so don't know about the S&H for UK.

There are SO many pins...I found I have to limit myself....I have a couple of characters and there are some lanyard pins I want to look for this next trip!

Did anyone warn you...it is addicting?!
