Checked the ADR calculator and to book Rainforest Cafe in AK for lunch on 6th JUL my time started today... HOORAY! :D
But after I reserved that one the rep asked if I'd like to book any more. I thought I wasn't allowed to because I wont be staying on-site at the BCV until 11th JUL.
Well I booked ADRs right up to the 16th JUL, but not any further, which is 10 days from the 6th I know, (and may account for it cause I know you can book up to 10 days worth from your check in date) but I dont check in until the 11th.
When the rep asked where I'll be staying I told him BCV checking in on the 11th. He did not ask for a booking ref. no.
I got reservation numbers today for ........
Rainforest Cafe,:) Crystal Palace Character Lunch,:) Cape May Cafe Character Breakfast,:) Whispering Canyon Cafe,:) Rose and Crown,:) Yachtsmans Steakhouse,:) Chef Mickies Character Dinner,:) Le Cellier,:) Cape May Cafe Clambake.:) right up until the 16th:D
I hope they'll be OK, anybody know why I was allowed to do this?

Not sure why they let you do it but wanted to say we did Cape May breakfast last week and really enjoyed it. The kids particularly liked being able to draw on the paper tablecover :hehe: Got some fab character pics and the food was all good. :D

You just got lucky. :D Don't knock it, the numbers are in the system (and you can call to double check) you just got lucky. Enjoy!

I think the guy thought I would be staying on Disney property from the 6th July and entered the details accordingly without asking for a booking ref. no.
This means that you could conceiveably ring up, tell them wrong dates and get ADRs even if you are not even staying on-site. (Im not advocating this of course  )
Surely this oversight takes away from the very good policy (IMHO) of allowing on site gueste to book 10 days in advance from check in date

Good to hear you all enjoyed it Paula.:D What did you think of the BCV?
BTW they've changed the web site so the price for a 1 bed is more than a studio now
