Food at the Boardwalk

We are thinking of staying at the Boardwalk for our next trip, however, what greatly clouded our trip in January was the fact that Saratoga Springs had no food court, we stayed our first 3 nights at Pop Century and their food court was fantastic.

Does the Boardwalk have a good court at all, where we can get the refillable cups and snacks as well??

There is NO food court at Boardwalk. Refillable mugs are available at the Boardwalk Bakery but they will refill them with coffee for you at the 2nd floor bar. I believe you have to go to the bakery for soft drink refills.

There is a "buffeteria" (think cafeteria style service) at the Dolphin. It's a bit of a walk, but not more than five minutes or so. There is no restaurant at all within the Boardwalk Resort. You'll need to go out on the boardwalk or into another resort (Swan, Dolphin, Yacht and Beach Club are all within easy walking distance) for a restaurant. There are several very nice ones among the hotels there.

Are you looking to stay in the villas or hotel. If you stay in the villas you can always prepare breakfast in your room. There are lots of places on the Boardwalk itself to get food, from bakeries, pizzas or a grocery store. There are also restaurants there. I am booked into OKW but there is no food court there, just a restaurant and take away place.

We don't want to have to prepare meals, afterall we are on holiday. We just found the food court a better idea for us because are more likely to come back to the resort for lunch and a rest and then go out again, or would have a large breakfast and then head off, but we couldn't do this at Saratoga.

As there was no food court at SSR we didn't bother with the cups as it was more sandwiches and pastries, but when we stayed at POR we used the restaurant and refillable cups all the time.

I understand that you don't want to cook on holiday, I'm the same :). We will be staying at OKW but will be preparing most breakfasts as it saves time when we want to race out to the parks, I will only be getting boxes of cereal and fruit, no cooking will be involved :D. OKW has a restaurant and take away counter.
BWV and BCV are well situated for plenty of restaurants and as OKWTink has mentioned the Dolphin has a buffeteria (we ate there everyday last year) which is a self service restaurant, good for breakfast but not for dinner (reminded me of the school canteen then), we were able to pick up cereal, coffee and pastries, although they also offer cooked breakfast. As far as I'm aware non of the DVC resorts have foodcourts.

There is beaches 'n' cream at the BCV and inside the Beach Club shop, they have a new area for buying basic groceries, getting snacks and refilling your mugs. They have a few tables with high stools in there, it's quite nice. You can't call it a food court, but it's great for getting the usual sandwiches/burgers etc. :D
