I was wondering what we will need to bring from home. What do you normally need to pack for your stay? Do they provide bar soap (for bathing and hand washing), dish detergent, laundry soap, paper towels, napkins, etc. or should we pack these items? Also how many towels are there when you arrive? Can you request more or will they only allot each room a certain number? Are towels available at the pools or do we need to bring our own from home? Are there robes available upon request? For those of you that have used the Magical Express how long after you board the bus do you generally have to wait before you leave the airport? (are you waiting a long time for the bus to fill up or do they leave even if the bus isn't full?) Thank you for answering my questions. You all have been wonderful through this entire process of becoming members of the DVC!

Hi Jordan, and Welcome!
I can answer some of your questions...In the kitchen of our 1BR villa at BCV we had a small bottle of liquid dish soap, two small sponges, a dish towel, one roll of paper towels, dish washer detergent and some sugar/equal/sweet n low. There was a small box of Tide for the washing machine - maybe one load's worth. In the bath we had a bar of soap at each of the two sinks and I think a small bottle of shampoo at the tub and at the shower. We only used the bar soap for handwashing and brought our own soaps for showering. Also, I don't think there were napkins, but I guess you could get a few from the food court or somewhere you've eaten.
There were four bath-sized towels and hand towels and a few wash cloths. We washed them in between check-in and "trash and towel day" (which was on day 4 of our 7 nights/8 day stay) and then again between "trash and towel day" and check out.
I'm one for enjoying vacation and not doing laundry, but I really didn't mind throwing a load in at night or in the morning before we headed out, so I brought two small bottles of Tide with us.
There are plenty of towels at the pool and bins to place them in when you're done.
Don't know about robes, we didn't ask, but did see people at the GF wearing them by the pool.
We had Quicksilver pick us up so we could stop for groceries, so I don't know about the Magical Express.
I'm sure someone else will be along who can answer the questions I couldn't!
Have a great time!

Thank you so much for your quick reply. That will help a lot with knowing what we will need to pack. The people on these boards are the best! :)
