DD1 needs a wheelchair as she has mobility problems and can't walk far. When we went to see Fantasmic last year we were directed to the top row of the seating area to the section on the left. Myself, DH and DD2 were expected to sit on a bench infront of DD1, there were no benches on the wheelchair row. We were not happy with this and discussed (nicely) with a cm that this was making DD1 unhappy as she was feeling isolated sitting away from us. We did notice that the centre section a had wheelchair area with benches next to where the chairs would go, after a lot of persuasion they relented and let us move there. What I am wondering is, is this the seating area for wheelchair users for Fantasmic dinner packages?

The dinner package seating area is over to the right of the stadium not the centre.
There is a wheelchair section on the front row where you could sit next to her. Although you do get the light spray from the water screens in the first few rows.

Thanks Jo. I wonder why they did not want to put us in these seats then  , we found them fine. We may not bother with the dinner package then  , especially as my lot are such fussy eaters  .

Hi, we dined once at Brown Derby and then went on to the special seating, which was not suitabe for Connah with his disability, we were offered the top row, infact i think it was the top row. I totally agree that they would feel a litte left out and split seating would be a good idea.
I love it before the performance begins and the seating area is filling up with everyone chatting, just love it.:hehe:

We have done this twice. The first time we did not do a dining package. We were able to sit next to our DD in split seating (she is in a wheelchair ). Last year we had a dining package. We were sat to the right. This was also very good for a quick exit before everyone else made their way out.
:mexwave: :mexwave: :mexwave: Mexican wave is always great to see.

Thanks :), would you say your seat was better when you booked the dinner package?

No i would not say it was any better or worse by having a dinner package. The only two good things about it was we new we had a wheelchair seat reserved so we did not have to get there to early. The other being that we could make a quick exit at the end.:)

We used the dinner package in late Dec and my DH was using an ECV. Instead of the reserved seating we were shown to the middle of the theatre and DH and scooter sat in a bay and I sat next to him on the bench. On his other side was a lady with another ECV and her family sat next to her.
You could ask for those seats so we would be all together.
