I presume you mean the one in LBV as I have not heard of another.
We stayed there in 2004 and are going again this October, so it can't be all that bad. We get a one bed suite as we have 3 kids and for the time you spend there it is perfectly adequate.
The pool is big enough and enough people use it for the kids and you to make friends, without it being to busy. One point to note, the pool certainly wasn't heated when we where there, okay once your in though.
Transport to Disney is great, the buses change their pick up/drop ioff routes depending how many people are stopping at particular hotels, you seem to get picked up first at Sheraton which is good as the buses can end up being standing room only. If you don't fancy fighting for a seat on the return bus, go to Epcot and get a taxi, it costs less than $20, only about $10 from Downtown Disney.
To get to Universal or Seaworld I think it cost abotu $60-$70 return, I have worked out that it will be about the same to hire a car for a few days if you do all of the Non Disney parks in one block.
There is also a pick up for the Busch Gardens bus just down the road at the LBV mall.
Finally one of the best things about the position of the Sheraton is the number of restaurants around, 4 in particular to recomend, not in any preference order.
1) Ale house - cheap beer, good food, huge portions, just across the road behind the petrol station
2) Olive Garden - Italian, very popular, queues most nights.
3) Chinese - I am fraid I don't remember the name, come out of Hotel turn left up Palm Parkway past pizza hut.
4) Chillis - same sort of food as Ale House, steak and fish mainly, but with a few southern spices added.

There are more than enough other restaurants within walking distance, so you could use a different one every night for a month.

Hope all this helps.
