Just saw on another website that Timekeeper will close at the end of Feb. Replacement has not been announced yet.

I can't say as I'm surprised. Once an attraction goes "seasonal" it's pretty much the doom of the end

I don't think I've ever done the Timekeeper, what is it exactly?

I couldn't find a link to it on this site. It is a circlevision film (same setup as the China film in Epcot) with a time travelling theme. You end up in France and meet Jules Verne and HG Wells. The voice is Robin Williams.

 its the HUUUUUGE building on the right as you walk into Tomorrowland.
Actually I cant remember there being and signs up for it for ages - they usually just use the lobby for the ride as a character meeting place now

Wow, in my memory bank the only thing I see in that area is Buzz. I now have a mission for May: locate one Timekeeper and then hit self in forehead, while also saying doh.

It's an attraction based on the old CircleVision technology. 360-degree screens, and you stand to watch it.
What differentiates it from the earlier CircleVision attractions is the audioanimatronics incorporated into the storyline--with one of the voices by Robin Williams! I've only seen it twice and really enjoy it, but standing on tired feet can be less than enjoyable!
Location: I'm visualizing to the left of CoP when exiting CoP. Could be wrong, though. It happens occasionally! ;)

It's next to Buzz isn't it? I remember someone being there for a signing as we were passing, wondered at the time why it was just an empty room.

i don't think that Monsters Inc would fit too well into the backround. What we need is a Treasure Planet spiderman-like ride. Or a 3-D movie

Even though it wasn't a favorite I'm sad to see it go. I'm not a change person, I like everything to stay & wish they could find somewhere else to squeeze in the new rides! I know that's not possible though. I did really enjoy this show though.
It's the first building on your right as you cross over into tomorrowland. It is right across the walkway from Stitch & it is beside of Buzz, you would walk past it to get to Buzz. It has been closed so often though I can see how someone could have missed it.
Is it already closed? Any chance of one last viewing this June?

Last I read, it definitely has closed. :(
But Disney being Disney, if they aren't ready to move ahead with a replacement attraction, could potentially operate it seasonally if they have enough response to the closing. And sufficient traffic to make it worthwhile!
It's hard to visualize what was where between my first WDW visit in 1981 and second WDW visit in 2003, but I'm thinking this building was an existing CircleVision attraction before it became Timekeeper.
