Man Injured on Peter Pan's Flight
A 70-year-old man was injured on the Magic Kingdom Fantasyland attraction Peter Pan's Flight on Tuesday evening, February 14, 2006. After stumbling on the ride's conveyor, he was pinned under an oncoming pirate ship, and at first his injuries were thought to be extensive. He was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center by helicopter, where doctors determined that his injuries were not life-threatening.
A Disney spokeswoman said the ride was shut down for the rest of the evening Tuesday, but it is expected to reopen today, Wednesday, February 15.
