"new" pool area at OKW

Ok, so I know it's not so very new but it still is to me because I haven't visited it yet. We will be staying at PO-FQ this summer & there used to be a boat that stopped at OKW so I was thinking we should pool hop over there if it's pretty nice now. Anyone seen it? Is it super fun for kids? Also, do they still have the playground with the huge sand toys? We were watching old home movies the other day & my 7 year old doesn't remember playing there & really wants to go see it again.

I really liked it and expected not to! The slide is wicked fun for young and a little less young alike. I had a great time there with my six year old relative last summer.

Pool hopping there would be neat!

Excuse my being picky but how can you pool hop? I thought you could only pool hop if you are a DVC member AND staying at a DVC resort.

You aren't staying at a DVC resort and you don't say if you are DVC members.

It's a DVC members perk, we can pool hop anywhere but Stormalong Bay or AKL. SAB run a very tight wristband system to make sure no-one just walk in off the boardwalk.

The kids really like the look of the sandcastle pool at OKW, they can't wait to try it. :wiggle:

Oh well :shrug:, if we've got a good pool at OKW the kids will not want to pool hop :).

I am a DVC member at BCV. I didn't say, guess I presumed everyone knew that, LOL.
Oh, you can pool hop anytime if you are a DVC member regardless of where you are staying as long as pool isn't full & as long as it's not at BCV or AKL.
Heck, to be honest, I pool hopped a few times prior to being a DVC member but shhhh! don't tell anyone. Some people get really upset over that :wink: just kidding!
