I was really amazed when i saw that Dc have started from this year to include your breakfast, dinner, and all snacks and beverages included in the price now. Very impressed as we spent a small fortune on drinks and snacks for the kids. We are wanting to book for next September but are not allowed for another 5 months yet:( , like to do things in advance. We have sacked the Key Largo thingy on the head.

Is it September this year you are going? I have just tried to book September 23 2006 and it let me.

DC have put their prices up to include the snacks and drinks.
I booked for DH and myself for a dolphin swim last month. It says that you are entitled to a free date swap if you need to change your dates...but only the once, then they charge you. I decided we needed to go the day after so I rang them up and swapped dates (having already paid in full last year) and they deducted another $80 from my bank account because there had been a price increase to include snacks since we originally booked :(

The snacks are.......crisps, biscuits, fruit and pretzels. The drinks are quite good and include sodas, beer, water and milkshakes.
The morning snacks from the breakfast cart (which was cleared up and wheeled away about 9.30am) were limited and not too mouth watering :rolleyes: You could get bread, jam, cake and bottled water.

Of course......it is all free:rolleyes: :lol:

You do still get a main meal between 11.30am and 2.30pm which is quite nice and a good choice is available.

I went to Discovery Cove last year, the interaction with the dolphin was short and in a group not very good. How about this tour

I did this as well last year, it was much better and it was one on one with a dolphin. Also there is a trip to Miami for a day (was fun but hurracaine Wilma was on the way :eek: ) It cost about £114 for each adult which is much cheaper and better.

I saw with dolphins in Key Largo last year. I did a "natural swim" which is basically just swimming in a huuuuge seawater canal/pool with seven dophin (and six other guests). It was REALLY good, but I was hideously ill with a chest infection so I couldn't really enjoy it. It was £80 for half an hour plus another hour of talks, information etc. I'd recommend it, but not if you have to drive from Orlando. We were staying on Marathon Key and so we had about an hour's drive which was OK.

I'm going to Discovery Cove for the first time this summer. Our tickets cost £149 for an adult, they've now gone up but we still get all the inclusive stuff they're now offering so glad the tickets were booked early! I was really disappointed that I was really too ill to enjoy last time at Largo so hopefully DC should make up for that. It's a different kind of dolphin swim at DC though, it's an interaction where you touch and play with the dolphins. The swim I did before, the only contact you had with the dolphins was if they initiated it. They did come say hi but they didn't play or do tricks with us. DC is more of a full day out, too.

Yes, I emailed to double check, it doesn't matter when you booked your tickets, it's still all-inclusive :thumbs:

HI Paula, we have looked at his very package and decided its not for us, not because of the fantastic experience but because of all the travelling over 2 days. I am not sure i could dtand being on a coach for nearly 8- 10 hours.
