Are there any help groups for your daughter condition, perhaps they could suggest some companies?

Have you tried CLIC to see if they know of any?

clic suggest the post office but the rest of the family are covered by husbands work. we are waiting for a response from them but apparently we need to do it nearer the time as a hospital stay would change premiums. i just have to say clic have been fantastic throughout it all.

Hi
We need special insurance for our DS10. A company called Medicover Insurance Services were recommended to us by Virgin insurance. The telephone number is 0870 735 3600. They were really helpful and the quote was reasonable.
May be worth giving them a call.

We have just taken out insurance with essential travel. They do have a web site www.essentialtravel.co.uk (http://www.essentialtravel.co.uk) or their phone number is 08703430319. You will need to go through medical screening. I know my dd does not have the same condition but she is due to have major back surgery in June and her epilepsy has reared its hugly head again and badly. She was addmitted to hospital for it. They covered 3 of us for £119. We are due to go to Orlando the end of November. :)
Make sure your policy will cover you all if you have to cancel as some times they do not :( .
It may be worth doing a search on the internet typing in travel insurance with lukemia.
I found some would cover her for the epilepsy and not the surgery and some for surgery and not epilepsy  .
Direct travel insurance are good as well. They would cover my dd but for £100 more so it is worth shopping around.
We were told by some to come back after she had her surgery and they would cover her but it is not worth taking the risk.
