Anyone done the Animal Adventure tour at BG?
I am going to book this for DH and myself.:)
Have done the tour to feed the giraffes etc but wanted to get closer to the other animals there too. (I love animals in case no one has noticed)
Would love to hear if anyone has done the above tour

If you love giraffes, then you'll love the tour. There's usually about 8 of you on the back of an open topped jeep along with the tour guide. She always makes sure everyone has a chance to feed the giraffe and other small animals along the way. You come to a complete stop out on the Serengeti and the giraffe basically come to you for a snack. They are very friendly and you get chance to stroke them and have photo opportunities. There is also a photographer on board ..... of course there is! It only takes about 30 minutes.

January just gone, we went to Amazing Exotics in a place called Umatilla in Florida. It is about an 80 minute journey by car from Orlando. They have about 16 tigers, one lion, leapords, a couple of bears, lots and lots of monkeys etc. I absolutely loved the day.....a trip report is below and photos in my gallery.....link also below.

Oh cool that sounds like fun!! :D I'll take any chance to do something 'out of the ordinary'!
I've had a nosy at your pics and they are just amazing!! It's quite a bit without a car, but when we come back to Florida we will have to give it a try!!

We were lucky enough to be the only people on board the jeep feeding the giraffes a few years ago. It rained all day and everyone practically left the park to our advantage really. We didn't have a photographer on board with us...but the experience was great :D

Yes, it was a real treat :)
We were approached by a mother and baby called Dolly and Dexter. As they were feeding from us, a male giraffe came running past. Boy, the jeep rocked! You really appreciate their size when close up :D
