This may seem trivial, but DS suffers badly from Tree pollen and is affected very badly from Mid March to June(ish). I understand the pollen is high in Orlando during May and was wondering if anyone can tell me how much greenery and what type of trees are mainly in and around WDW and if there are actually many trees in the parks. I would think AK has a lot but we know what type of tree mainly affects him and would just like to be a bit prepared. Do I need a backpack full of tissues or not?? thanks

When we go in the spring I always have problems with my allergies and YES there are all sorts of trees and bushes, etc. in all 4 parks. Epcot isn't too bad at the front, but the world showcase has lots of trees/bushes, etc., MGM is has a moderate amount of trees, but the MK has lots and lots of trees and plants. It's all so pretty in the spring and I just take some allergy pills, stuff my fanny pack with kleenex and have a good time anyway
ALSO, don't forget that May is when they have the flower and garden festival which adds all sorts of plantings too.

We better stock up on the Piriton then. I was sort of hoping we would get some respite from it but DS takes it in his stride and there will be many a thing to distract him from it.

I suffer from really bad hayfever in the UK but seem to find that when we go to Florida in July/August, never seem to have any problems. I'm not sure why that's the case, I think that maybe my hayfever is mainly due to grass pollen but I take loads of anti-histamines with me just in case.

I'm a sufferer too. :(
I've been checking here:

I'm allergic to everything and spend a good deal of my time here in Virginia with itchy, watery eyes, sneezing, etc. I don't have any of those problems when I go to Orlando.
