I was going to book the Disney Luau, but I have just had a real look at the Spirit of Aloha menu on site... silly me, I thought it was going to be Polynesian food!! It's chicken, ribs, veggies and rice... which I think I'll be sick of by the time I get home!!

I'd rather a Luau with authentic food, as I've never been to one before...I might not like it, but hey, at least I can say Ive tried it!!

On the Seaworld Luau, different sources say different things with regards to the menu... on Seaworld website, it says stuff like pasta, garlic mash, turkey slices, etc. (which isnt particularly Hawaiian either), but on other websites it says Mahi Mahi in Pina Colada, Hawaiian chicken, sweet and sour pork, etc which sounds much more appealing...

Can someone shed some light on the menu for me please?

I have already booked this for us at the end of the year....but the Xmas show.

The original menu (which was on the SW site a few days ago) included...
Fresh Greens with Ginger Dressing, Mahi Mahi in Pina Colada Sauce, Hawaiian Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, Fried Rice, Vegetable Medley, Banana Lava Cake with Peanut Drizzle, Coffee, Tea, Assorted Soda, one complimentary cocktail

Now, they have changed it to.......
Fresh Garden Salad & Dressings
Caesar Salad; Potato Salad
Pasta Primavera
Rice Pilaf
Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Gravy
Fresh Garden Vegetable Medley
Beef Stew
Seafood Creole
Sliced Turkey
Freshly Baked Rolls & Butter

If you go ahead as though you were booking the meal, it still has the original menu there too.
Looks like they are changing the menu over to me
To be honest, I may not have booked if I'd known!

Have you thought about O'Hanana's? I think they may do similar food

Yes, I've put 'Ohanas down on our itinerary as well... I just wanted to try the food in a Luau as well :)
