Has anyone ever used this from I-Drive to Busch?? It'll be the only way we can get there...
Oh, and if anyone can give any additional help on one question. Ive had a look at the websites and the pick-up points for the shuttle, but am not familiar with International Drive, so if anyone could tell me which is closest to Rodeway Inn International without me having to trawl through the net I'd be eternally grateful!

We have never used the pick up from I-Drive, but have used it from LBV. It takes just over an hour. The only downside for us was that you had to leave when the bus company wanted too. It did seem to cut the day short, although in reality the park was only open for another half hour anyway.
If you have never been too busch before I have a few tips.
1) Take a change of clothes, more than any other park you will get soaked on the water rides. Do them all in one hit, they are not far from each other.
2) Decide if you want to do the safari and do that first, once you get into the rides you will be hard pushed to find the time to go back, and before you know it the bus will be leaving.
3) If you have small kids they have a great area just for them, with small rides and a scary tall tree house.

We had a bit of a nightmare with the free shuttle. It was 40 minutes late, then when it did come it wasn't big enough to get everyone on. Took almost 2 hours to get there and when we eventually did, Busch Gardens was packed. Maybe we got it on a bad day, but wouldn't do it again.

we used the Busch shuttle last year from I-drive and will use it again this year, we found it very handy..we got picked up from the Mercado Village, really not sure if this is close to ur hotel though?? we had to book a place on the bus in advance our hotel did this for us, the only thing we found was that when the bus picked us up it was already quite full from previous pick ups and my family and i couldnt sit together for the long drive down there, this year we will prob get picked up from sea world as i think this is the first pick up point (not sure) plus it is closer to our hotel (Rosen Centre) Anyway no matter how u get there Busch Gardens in my opinion is an awesome park and im sure u will love it there

We used the Busch Gardens shuttle last year and had a fine journey, we booked the tickets before leaving home which included free transport on the shuttle and they give you a number to phone to book your seat which we did a couple of days b4 we wanted to go to BG. They were really helpful in explaining which stop was nearest to hotel etc. Our bus was virtually empty, was a bit old and slow though, took bout an hr and a half and we did have to leave b4 park closed but the park was so empty on the day we went we had done evrything already!!

I should add that we booked in advance, but clearly other people hadn't. However no priority was given to us and i had to point out we had booked.

Thanks again for all your comments...
We'll have no choice other than to take the free shuttle.. but hey we'll get there in the end I suppose!! I'll try and find out in advance where the first stop is, so we can go there to catch the shuttle!!
I'll try and do the safari first, then the big coasters - as its the coasters I really want to do - Im a big coaster fan!!! Then the water rides and quick change before we go home :D

We had no problems at all with the shuttle bus when we went. It picked us up at the Mercado shopping centre, im not sure where this is in comparrison to your hotel though, and got us there in just over an hour. One tip i will give though, because of the air conditioning on the coach we got very cold, especially on the way home - so put a fleece or something in your bag, you can always leave it on the coach!
If you do a google search on IDrive, you will be able to look up where your hotel is and where the shopping centre is. We also went in 2003 and got picked up from the Sheriton, which is down near Seaworld

Sheikra is the best coaster in Florida IMO! You'll love it! We weren't v.excited about BG b4 we went but it ended up being our favourite day, totally different atmosphere to Disney, v relaxing!

Great!! :D
I know what you mean Thumper... I am so busy concentrating and planning the Disney part of the holiday, I'm forgetting I'm going to go to so much more wonderful parks!! I can't wait to go, and I know this is off topic, but I'm also really looking forward to Discovery Cove!!:D

We used the shuttle in 2002 and it was great, they picked us up in Seaworld's car park (this was the first stop) - only bad was we had to catch a taxi from ASMovies to Seaworld first. Its an early start and a long drive, but its totally worth it. Hopefully next year we'll go when my folks join us (they live in PA), and they'll drive!!

So Seaworld is the first stop? That's good to know!! I get really travel sick if I don't sit by a window in any vehicle, so hopefully I can grab a window seat... unless I can call the shuttle company ahead and ask them to reserve me a window seat (I dont know if I can do this) - although needless to say I will have a load of travel sickness tablets with me!!!
When we go to Busch, we'll be on our I-Drive portion of our stay, so hopefully we will be able to take a taxi down there quite early or the trolley :)

We got the trolley down there, that time of morning I Drive is really quiet so you'll have no problems.

Great :D Has anyone been on the Serengeti Safari tour? Is it worth the extra few quid to feed the giraffe?
I'd like to go on it, but I'm not sure if I should just stick to the the park's normal safaris as I think the shuttle comes back to get you at around 6.30 and it may eat a large chunk out of our day
