View Full Version : So if I buy 150 Vero beach points....

I could book at the boardwalk 7 monthes ahead of time and use all the points at the boardwalk? The Vero beach points seem so much cheaper then the other resorts. Then if I added on 25 boardwalk points later I could book 11 months early for the boardwalk?
Same thing with hilton head? That is the normal club points?

Hi your Vero points will mean you can book at Vero at 11 months, your boardwalk points mean you can book 25 points worth of accommodation at Boardwalk at 11 months and then use your vero points to book at Boardwalk at the 7 month window.

Ohhhhh I see, so if I wanted to book boardwalk 11 months in advance I would have to have that many boardwalk points, So I should buy into the boardwalk since that is the resort we really want or just plan to book 7 months in advance if we buy into a different resort.
I kind of what would like to buy into hilton head because those points are about $30 cheaper a point then the boardwalk.

We bought at Boardwalk because we love Epcot and we visit during the food and drink festival and it can be a problem booking at the 7 month window.
We also bought at OKW because the rooms are so much bigger and at $76 a point with 300 banked points I couldn't say no!:D

It sounds like you got a really good deal! Hubby and I are pretty flexable about when we would want to vacation and studio or villa would be fine with us so hopefully they 7 month window wouldn't be a problem. We actually just stayed at the boardwalk and I think we booked it Jan or Feb for april! We have had good luck getting into the boardwalk villa's as a non vacation club memeber. I think for one trip we did have to adjust what days we where going to get the boardwalk but it wasn't bad. I just LOVE the resort. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Maybe the beach club, but that is it. I'm really hoping we can join the vacation club soon, it would be great to be able to go during the low point season and get my parents a room there was well.
