Disney Dancers/Actors

Hello!

Are there any Disney dancers/actors out there, especially with WDW? Just wondering what info you can provide info., especially on the audition process. Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

My husband is a musician and has talked to some of the musicians at WDW. They have auditions advertised and then you are hired and can play anywhere within WDW. We talked to the drummer at the GF (on the balcony) and he has been w/ WDW for 15 years and primarliy plays at the GF now. But he used to play in Pleasure Island and other Disney hotels. He said they just have open auditions. Look for them on the disney website or sometimes they advertise for open castings.

Don't know what your situation is, if you are in college or willing to relocate, but what a lot of performers do is, if in college for example, is apply for the WDW College Program, once here, it's easier to find out about all the auditions and open castings offered on property which are more and more often than outside.

Many are willing to relocate to quickly get a job and have access to the internal job postings, and auditions, just like Imentioned above.

There are Disney Job Fairs going on all thru May at this moment :yes:

if you go to http://www.disneycareers.com, off to the left, fourth one from the top says "auditions" and it lists when they are. The normally employ people from age 17-30 as far as performers. Good luck :thumbs:
